About the event
Join artist Jane Frederick for a relaxing and playful afternoon capturing the structural patterns, colours and fading beauty of the autumn landscape. Through innovative mark-making and colour mixing techniques, you will learn how to interpret seasonal flora, berries and fungi.
Pastels lend themselves beautifully to capturing vibrant and intense colours as well as having a soft, powdery texture which makes them easy to blend and smudge, and they are excellent for building up layers of colour and experimenting with mark making.
Jane is an artist and teacher based in Lincoln and her students tell us her classes are relaxed and inspirational and she encourages everyone to be playful and to experiment with materials and techniques.

This class is delivered in partnership with developmentplus a local Lincoln charity as part of their Making programme of art classes. These fund the charities work in supporting vulnerable, disadvantaged and marginalised people to overcome…
