About Us
Stuart is the social enterprise manager for Development Plus and is the person delivering many of Lumina’s courses.
In a previous life Stuart was a radio presenter working for stations such as Lincs FM and Heart. He wanted to put something back in to the community and had a keen interest in working with people. He joined Development Plus in 2019 as a Development Worker on the project “Better Together” supporting people in Lincoln towards positive mental health through mentoring and group activities such as gardening, training and mindfulness.
Also in 2019 he qualified as a mindfulness teacher and delivers sessions across the county. Over the last couple of years he identified that poor mental health at work had rocketed due to cut backs, life pressures, the pandemic and cost of living crisis...and so Lumina was born!
